<\/p>\nOne day, Jesus was walking along the lake. The lake was beautiful and large, and the sun sparkled on the water. Many people worked there because they wanted to catch fish. They were fishermen. Jesus looked around and saw two brothers: Simon, who was also called Peter, and Andrew. The two threw their nets into the water to catch fish. <\/p>\n
Jesus went to them and said something very special: “Come with me. I’ll make you fishers of men!” Simon and Andrew didn’t know exactly what that meant, but they were drawn to Jesus. They felt that Jesus was very special. They quickly left their nets and went with him. <\/p>\n
A little further on, Jesus met two brothers: James and John. They sat in the boat with their father, Zebedee, mending their nets to keep them strong. Jesus also called these two: “Come with me!” Then James and John left their boat and their father behind and followed Jesus. <\/p>\n
Jesus rejoiced in his new friends. Now they were on the road together to tell people about God. They listened to Jesus and learned how to become fishers of men. This meant that they should help others find and love God. <\/p>\n
Jesus wants us to follow him and help others find his loving God.<\/p>\n
